On behalf of the Friends of WVU Hospitals Board, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your recent participation and generous donations for our 4th Annual Friends of WVU Hospitals Golf Tournament at the Pines Country Club on September 17th, 2025. Your generosity allows us to continue our mission of rendering service and promoting the health and welfare of our patients, patient families, and employees of West Virginia University Hospitals. Over the years, Friends has provided more than $2 million in funding for several patient comfort and care programs, including:

• Welcome Baby Packs for all newborns at WVU Children’s Hospital
• No One Dies Alone Program (N.O.D.A)
• Child Activity Center at the new WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital
• Rosenbaum Family House stay unit
• Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center
• Betty Puskar Breast Care Center Connect (a patient/employee communication system)
• Welcome Baby Packs for all newborns at WVU Children’s Hospital
• CPR Anytime training kits for local schools
• Weight management scales for heart patients
• Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)Patient activities & supplies
• WVUH department requests
